Under the tutelage of Master Chef Emeril Lagasse our friend Bill Weir was able to hone his cooking skills and perfect techniques which enabled him to use his talents to achieve executive and most requested private chef status. Bill’s incredible talent and skill allowed him to complete an externship in New Orleans at Emeril Lagasse’s famous NOLA restaurant. He decided to follow his passion of cooking and graduated with high honors from the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh, PA in 1995. Bill worked through the ranks holding many cooking and managerial positions in West Virginia and North Carolina. Weir attended West Virginia University and began cooking at the age of 20.
Bill is a native of Elkins, WV and graduated from Elkins High School in 1988. Smoke on the Water is proud to introduce our executive Chef Bill Weir. We welcome you to come on out and join us. Jon is an avid trout fisherman who has a fun loving laid back style. In 2011, WV native Jon Magee established Smoke on the Water.
